I don’t think so. Movie theatres provide a sense of occasion. It’s the place to go for a night out…something which people have sorely missed during the pandemic. You often don’t just go to movies, you go to get a meal and a movie. In the 80s Video Stores popped up all over the place, then they switched to DVDs, and everyone thought that cinemas would die…and they certainly took a hit, but they had a resurgence. When streaming became a world wide phenomenon, Video (DVD) shops died but movie theatres kept on going. People have huge screens and media rooms in their homes now, but still go to the movies for the latest Marvel release, or any other blockbuster.canvas crackeado
